London 20 August 2019 - Pre-17 driving scheme, Young Driver, has announced it will plant up to 1200 trees a year in a bid to help offset carbon dioxide (CO2) produced by its vehicles with the intention of encouraging the next generation of drivers to think green.

The UK's largest pre-17 driving school offers lessons to 10-17 year olds at 65 venues across the country and also teaches drivers how to be more environmentally conscious behind the wheel, such as being light on the throttle and brakes, having good traffic anticipation to avoid wasting energy and switching off the engine whenever possible.
