London 20 July 2019 - Dubai-based sportscar manufacturer, Jannarelly, will be showcasing its Design-1 boutique sports car at this years Salon Privé to be held at Blenheim Palace (5-8 September).

The dreamchild of Anthony Jannarelly, who also designed the W Motors Lykan HyperSport as featured in one of the Fast and Furious movies (the one that jumped across buildings in Abu Dhabi!) the roadster has been designed, developed and built in Dubai.

The retro-styled two-seat rear-wheel drive sports car is powered by a Nissan 3.5-litre V6 engine developing 325bhp - which is a lot in a car that weighs just 760-810kg. Hence a 0-62mph time of under 4 seconds.

Inspired by 1960s style sports cars, Anthony originally set out to design and build a car for himself, in fact the plan is now to produce 499 units - each built on a steel/aluminium tubular structure with a composite or even lighter carbon fibre body. UK prices start at £85k.

I actually rode in one of the very earliest editions in Dubai back in 2017:
