Bahrain, Jun 15 (BAN/CD): The world’s largest underwater theme park will be launched in Bahrain in August, with an airplane as its centerpiece.
The decommissioned, 70-meter long Boeing 747 has been modified to become one of the attractions in the theme-park named Dive Bahrain.

The airplane will be fully submerged in water to create a safe haven for coral reef growth, according to the park’s official website.
The park, which covers an area of 1,00,000 square metres will also feature a replica of a Bahraini pearl merchant’s house, artificial coral reefs and other sculptures.
