Colombo, June 12 (BAN/ AD): The special Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) will convene tomorrow which is appointed to investigate the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks on the 21st of April. Former Governor of the Eastern Province, MLAM Hizbullah, former Inspector General of Police NK Illangakoon will testify before PSC on Thursday at 2 pm.
J.J. Ratnasiri Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration will also testify before the PSC committee. On Tuesday Former Governor of the Western Province Azath Salley, Chairman of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Organization and a Moulavi of a Mosque in Kattankudy had testified before PSC. It has been reported that the members of the parliamentary select committee have decided to meet and discuss the Presidents recent comments pertaining to the committee. PSC investigation in Easter Sunday bombings has been opposed by President Maithripala Sirisena.
