Ameet Chana contributed to the fantastic cause and said “last year I was part of Barnardo’s amazing campaign fast for a day, where they spoke to people in the media who were both Muslim and non-Muslims to actually observe the holy month of Ramzan and fast for one day and I found it a brilliant experience to raise awareness of the work Barnardo’s does through celebrating a cultures festival. Then Anisha got in touch with me and said you have done some work with Barnardo’s before and I was happy to help…a lot of people don’t realise that what Barnardo’s does is fully 100% focused on children in this country the UK and needs to be celebrated…and I can help reach their message through social media”
Anisha’s efforts were greatly appreciated and people were present supporting the event and the cause. When asked what inspired her to bring in this event she said, “I wanted to bring three of my most favourite things together - family, food and fun. Fashion Brunches are trending all over the world and I wanted to include fashion, networking and shopping for all our women who could celebrate the day with their families and children and give us the overwhelming response of selling out a week before the show. Thank you all.”
