London: After hundreds of thousands of people marched in London on Saturday to demand a second referendum, a petition was started, the petition has now gained 5,653,782 signatures and is still rising.
Organisers of the Put it to the People march claimed one million people joined the procession through the capital. People came in from all over Britain and Europe to stand up for the new three Rs: revoke, remain, reform!
People had come down with four generations of family to have their voices heard, surely this event will to go down in History as the UKs senior MPs, peers and celebrities joined forces to encourage people to march for a “people’s vote”.
Organised by the People's Vote campaign, campaigners met at Park Lane, central London at midday before marching their way through to Parliament Square where Nicola Sturgeon and Lord Michael Heseltine were amongst the keynote speakers.
Carrying EU flags and placards protesters called for any Brexit deal be put to another public vote.
