London, Feb 20: Feburary 16 What an evening to be a part of and cover exclusively. A historical night in the making; a stage and line-up never seen before. 10 artists with an full house of 3500 people in the venue got together all for one name, Natasha Sandhu.
British Asia News got the exclusive privilege to cover the event, which happened at Hammersmith Apollo. The venue was totally sold and filled out with 3500 people dancing the evening away on the tunes of artists like Juggy D, Mickey Singh, Jaz Dhami, H Dhami, Vidya Vox, Arjun, Firstman, and ofcourse, Guru Randhawa. The event organised by Arjun in collaboration with Milana Thinking and Media Hive, was in honour of Natasha Sandhu, wife of Arjun, who unfortunately passed away in 2018 due to an undiagnosed heart condition. The event also raised money for CRY, Cardiac Risk in the Young.
10 artists came on stage to perform their best pieces, with a mix of Hindi, Punjabi and English music. The event began at 7 pm in the evening and carried on till about 11. The show opened with surprise performance by Naughty Boy producing Natasha’s favourite songs. Even amidst the storm, people came out and supported whole-heartedly. Never have we seen artists come out together and remember a beautiful soul and the relationships they shared with Natasha and Arjun. All interviews and what they had to say about her are uploaded with the article below. It was truly an event that will go down in history.
British Asia News got an exclusive peek and interview with Indian music sensation, Guru Randhawa who remembered Natasha fondly. Jaz Dhami and Juggy D spoke to us and said, “Today all of us are here as friends to have a good time and the vibe is totally celebratory for she was someone who has to be celebrated than mourned.” A beautiful painting was gifted to Arjun by Inkuisitive, which showcased a picture of their wedding with all other artists. The evening ended with Guru and Arjun tuning together to their famous song ‘Suit Suit’.
Well done to Arjun and the entire team of Milana Thinking and MediaHive to have put this show together so beautifully that will go down in history.
