London: The well attended Asian Apprentice Awards was held at the Edgbaston Cricket ground on the 29th Nov this year, to celebrate the talent and diversity among British Asian Apprentices in their chosen fields.
The Awards brought together cross industry and sector leaders across UK who supported the event and the cause behind it.
Launched in March 2016, the event was initiated to celebrate the talent and diversity of the under-represented British Asian Apprentices, their employees and training providers.
Apprenticeships have been seen as a secondary route for British Asians to walk their path to a successful career after University. This has been a hugely successful model over the years.
The Awards fit into a larger discussion and Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) representation within the Labour market.
